Xenophobia -The African's version

XENOPHOBIA - The African's Version

Why the fear?
Why the hatred?
Why the killing?

Mother Africa told us we're one, brothers, the same color and it's her blood of unity in diversity running in us...
Mother told me the greatest enemy to defeat is the voice that tells me “my brother is the cause of my failure...”
Do you really think so?

Africa believes - the progress of my brother is not my progress...
Go away you do not belong here!
To an outlandish color he falls in love
Sit down o' Africa, Think Think Think!

“who bewitched you again...” Mother Africa cries
After we fought together, side by side we stood to preserve Her race
Now divided we stand...!
Her doom is nigh...!
Sit down O' Africa, Think Think Think!

Her strength is Her color
Her strength is in Her unity
Say no to xenophobia
Let be and let your brother be
Let your strength come from within

Our eyes are on you
Give the future hope
Baby Africa is watching

  1. Nationalism is it different from xenophobia?
Some disguise xenophobia to be nationalism, but i was thinking that nationalism is not a product of fear, although loss of life is apparent... What do you think?

  3. Xenophobia is something we need to kill in Africa. At times I wonder if Africa is under a curse. I don't really get how one can tie his lack of job or money to foreigners. Why attack the Blacks that helped you during your national struggle. I'm disappointed in SA.

  5. The problem in Africa is that we don't even know our problem, and even if we manage to spot our problem through the eye of a needle, we end up taking the wrong approach.

They is no justification for taking human life except as provided by the law, irrespective of the reasons behind it. south Africans have to outgrow this backward mentality, it's inhuman, barbaric and condemnable.

south Africans are confused... The whole idea of xenophobia is that they believe that the presence of Nigeria business men in their country is the reason for their unemployment...
like #Robert Mugabe said ; it's only in South Africa that an uneducated man believe that a qualified medical doctor from another African country is the reason for his unemployment... This quote though old explains everything

    1. Still firmly believe that one protecting his economy from foreign domination is not a crime, only concerned on what measure you took to achieve that, the killing cannot be justified.

  7. And then again... Xenophobia did not start today... It has always being there though dormant.. It's just gaining popularity now.. Because of the bloodshed involved

  8. Concerning the reaction of Nigerian government concerning the insecurity of her people in SA,people believe it's a airheaded approach, a weak government... Diplomatic settlement remains the best action, although our government lacks common sense and human empathy, just taking lazy and slow steps..
